The Michelin Defender LTX M/S is a touring all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. The specialized 3D siping detail of the tread design manages to find great road grip in dry, wet and winter weather road conditions. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves and the open shoulder slots actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint.
The twin steel belt internal structure improves the tire’s durability. As the tire does not deform under the driving pressure affecting it, it can keep close to the road surface during the drive. This lowers the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin, ensuring a comfortable drive. The specialized computer optimized tread design manages to decrease the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion.
