The Hercules Tour 4.0 Plus is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The asymmetric tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthens the tread life and the tire’s usability by actively preventing irregular tread wear formations across the tire’s surface.
The asymmetric tread design and the silica-based tire compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The wide circumferential and cross lateral grooves improve the water and slush dispersing capability, which boost the hydroplaning resistance. The silica compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements firmly grip the road surface throughout the year which, along with the exceptional hydroplaning prevention.
The Hercules Tour 4.0 Plus features a tread design and a reinforced nylon wrap internal structure which upgrade the controllability. The tread elements allow the tire to maintain its road contact at all times, while the internal structure prevents the deformation of the tire’s optimal shape. This improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder tread blocks heighten the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface, to provide a secure cornering and maneuvering capability.
