For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The General HS is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles, made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire offers a fuel efficient performance. The model was produced from a special low rolling resistance compound which reduces the driving pressure affecting the tire. The rolling resistance is the external driving pressure affecting the tire, that determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The decreased rolling resistance manages to lessen the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. In this manner, the tire becomes very fuel conscious and environmentally friendly in its performance.
The model promotes a longer tread life. The five-rib tread pattern closely follows the road surface and evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear across the tread area. The lowered rolling resistance, on the other hand, slows the tread wear rate down by easing the driving pressure off the tire. The slower even tread wear extends the tread life and the tire's usability.
The HS provides great damage resistance. The model was designed with the Integrated Stone Ejection System – HS which utilizes the ribbed pattern to eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. The ribs eliminate rocks from the footprint before they can cause stone retention, which can harm the tire's casing and shorten its service life. The excellent damage prevention ensures a safer driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
