The Nankang WF-2 Roadiac Hyper Sport is a high performance summer tire manufactured for motorcycles.
The special tread pattern and curved tire profile enhance the summer weather traction. The larger slick area on the tire with the V-shaped tread grooves improve the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The model is not meant to be used in winter conditions, as the tire's compound and tread design will not maintain their good road grip in colder temperatures. The reinforced internal structure lowers the tire's overall weight, which decreases the heat buildup on the tire. This further increases the summer weather performing ability as the tire withstands the heat of summer driving.
The model promotes excellent high speed performance. The tread pattern's larger slick area and the curved tire profile increase the road contact at all times. The optimized tire shape is maintained at all times, thanks to the Jointless Band Technology. This helps maintain the tire's optimal shape under the high speed driving pressure with the spirally wrapped nylon that reinforces the tire's steel belt structure. As a result, the tire does not deform under the driving pressure affecting it, not even during cornering and maneuvering. This technology also manages to lower the heat buildup on the tire. The decreased heat lowers the rolling resistance which helps upgrade the high speed performing ability.
The curved tire profile and the large slick area tread design provide a larger road contact area. The better road contact and the reinforced internal structure stabilize the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. In this manner, the tire is easily controlled even during high speed driving. When cornering, the model maintains its optimal shape and does not deform. The enhanced structure guarantees excellent stability and performing ability in all summer weather.
The WF-2 Roadiac Hyper Sport lengthens the tread life and tire usability. The V-shaped tread design and the rubber compound work together to increase the tread life. The large slick area on the tire is only interrupted by the V-shaped tread grooves, while the tire's rubber consists of a harder compound on the center area and a softer compound on the shoulder area of the tire. This prevents irregular tread wear by evenly distributing the driving pressure out across the tread area. The longer lasting tread life and usability, make the tire very cost efficient as well.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
