FAQS

You've got questions, we have answers. Below is a list of the most common questions from our customers.

Does the Tire Have Outline White Letters (OWL) or Does It Have a Whitewall (WW)?

We do not keep records if they are white wall (WW)/ outline white letter (OWL) or not, we only guarantee that the one side of the tire is always black walled.

Does This Tire Have Any Patches or Repairs?

All of the tires provided for sale on our website are new, blemished, take-off or factory take-off tires. These tires do not have any repairs on them. We do not sell repaired tires as new tires.

Do You Offer to Ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Do You Accept Offers?

We do not accept offers. The current sale price is final.

Can Shipping Charges Be Reduced or Discounted?

We offer free shipping to the 48 contiguous states.

Can I Use My Own Shipping Carrier Account?

Sorry, we do not allow customers to use their own shipping carrier accounts.

Can I Pick Up Tires from Your Local Warehouse In Allentown, PA?

Yes, you can pick up your tires in our three main warehouses. Please give our Customer Service team a call at 866-480-8477 at least an hour before coming. This is to give our staff time to prepare the tires and to take payment for them (as we do not accept payments at our warehouses).

Is There a Signature Requirement on My Order?

For orders exceeding $2500 (tax included) in value, the tires will be shipped with a mandatory signature requirement. It is not optional. If you wish to add a signature requirement to your lower-value order, please contact our Customer Service via e-mail at info@tiremart.com or telephone at 1-866-480-8477. Removing signature requirements from shipments is not possible.

Is the Price Listed Per Tire or All Tires in the Listing?

The price provided on the listing is for the amount provided in the title. i.e. 4 Nice Michelin Pilot Hx MXM4, 225/50/17 So it would be a set of 4 tires at the going sale price provided on the listing, not per tire at the listed price.

How Long Does It Take for Shipping/Delivery?

Depending on where you are located in the 48 contiguous states it will take on average FedEx 1-6 business days to complete delivery from any of our many warehouses. For a more specific estimate please call us at 1-866-480-8477.

How Old Is the Tire/Tire Service Life?

We sell tires no matter the age as long as they pass our inspection process and that the rubber proves to be healthy and dry rot free. Please refer to the RMA guidelines for the age of a tire.

How Do I Read the Tread Measurement Provided on the Listing?

Traditionally car sizes tires will begin at 10/32 of an inch while truck tires vary and can begin at 12-14/32 of an inch. We advise contacting the manufacturer to confirm the beginning tread to compare against our remaining measurement.

Do You Split Your Listings?

Unfortunately we will only sell our listings as they are. If the listing says 2 we can only sell it as a pair and if it says 4 we can only sell it as a set of 4. We do not split our sets/pairs and we will list our tires to reflect our inventory; if we have 3 in stock we will list it as a pair and a single.

Do You Sell Rims/Wheels?

No. We focus all our energy on finding the highest quality new tires only.

Do You Offer Coupon Codes on Your Site?

From time to time we will show our active coupon promotion up near the top of the page in a banner just below the navigation bar. If you don't see a bright color banner with a coupon code, we are not currently offering a coupon to use. You can also see all active coupons and sales on our Deals Page

Do You Carry Tires for All Types of Vehicles?

We mainly carry tires for cars, SUVs and light trucks. Here is a partial list of some other tires types we do have in stock: ATVs, motorcycles, golf carts, four wheelers, off road trucks, trailers, mowers, doughnut tires, small spares and other non-standard vehicles.

What Is the Difference Between Radial and Bias Ply Tires?

Radial tires' steel belts dissipated heat better. The second problem is that bias-ply tires have a very stiff sidewall due to the fact that all the plies run from sidewall to sidewall. Because radial tires have fewer layers of body cords on the sidewall, the sidewalls allow the tire to flex more.

How Many Miles Can I Expect to Get Out of This/These Tire(s)?

Mileage is truly dependent upon the driver, the road conditions and how well kept the vehicle is among other factors, so we are unable to give a mileage quote in miles or estimated lifespan. Some Manufacturers do, however, provide mileage quotes.
