A high-performance tire for passenger cars, the Falken Pro G4 A/S combines many of the traits drivers look for most often: good handling, pronounced dry traction, a quiet ride, foul-weather grip and durability. It is an all-season radial, so it makes a good everyday, year-round tire. Tires in the line, depending on size, are rated H for speeds up to 130 miles per hour; V, to 149; or W, to 168. All sizes have black sidewalls. Sizes fit 15- through 20-inch wheels.

The asymmetric tread is a cross between elements that enhance dry on-road performance, and those that grip in rain and light snow. The outboard shoulder has blocks formed by wide grooves, with two sipes for bite in each block. The adjacent rib is the tire’s widest, with a crosshatch of variably sized blocks in alternating rows of two, then three. Every block has sipes for foul-weather bite. The inboard shoulder is semi-continuous, with wide lateral notches and sipes on the outer edge, abutting a vertical sipe and a solid band of rubber for handling and stability on the inner edge. Its adjacent rib is continuous, with angled sipes on the outboard edge and diagonal notches on the inboard edge. Three wide channels, notches and grooves evacuate ample water for hydroplaning resistance.
